What Qurbani Means
Every year during Eid al-Adha, Muslims around the world honor the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) by offering Qurbani — the ritual sacrifice of livestock — and sharing the meat with those in need.
For thousands of struggling families in Uganda, Qurbani is the only time of year they taste meat.
Through Umar Khan Charity Organization’s Qurbani Program, your sacrifice becomes a source of joy, nourishment, and spiritual reward. We ensure your Qurbani is carried out with full Islamic compliance, transparency, and compassion — reaching the most remote and food-insecure villages.

You donate — we purchase healthy livestock locally.

We sacrifice the animal on the days of Eid al-Adha.

We distribute the meat directly to the poorest families, orphans, and widows.
All processes follow Shariah guidelines, and a certificate of completion or photo proof can be provided upon request.
