🎓 Why Education Matters
In under-resourced communities across Uganda, access to quality education remains one of the biggest obstacles to escaping poverty. Many children — especially orphans, girls, and children from vulnerable families — are forced to abandon school due to lack of school fees, uniforms, or simply because no classroom exists nearby.
Umar Khan Charity Organization is committed to providing sustainable educational opportunities by offering:
- Student Sponsorships for individual children
- Construction of new schools and classrooms in underserved villages
- Provision of educational materials and infrastructure to ensure a safe, dignified, and empowering learning environment

We fully or partially cover the cost of:
- Tuition fees (primary & secondary)
- School uniforms and shoes
- Learning materials (books, bags, pens)
- Midday meals (where needed)
- Mentorship and life-skills programs
✔️ School Construction & Facility Improvement
We build and maintain:
- Classrooms & blackboards
- Latrines and clean water stations
- Desks, chairs, and learning equipment
- Girls-only washrooms to support continued enrollment
