The Crisis Beneath the Surface

In many rural regions of Uganda, clean water is not just scarce — it’s life-threateningly absent. Children walk miles daily for contaminated water. Illnesses like cholera, typhoid, and diarrhea claim lives simply because safe water is out of reach.

Umar Khan Charity Organization’s Water Project brings lasting change by constructing deep boreholes and hand-pump wells in the most underserved villages — offering communities safe, reliable water for generations to come.

🚰 What We Build

Each water point is professionally engineered and community-managed for sustainability. We provide:

• Borehole Wells (40–70m depth) — long-term access for hundreds of people
• Hand-Pump Wells — simple, low-cost systems for small villages
• Concrete Platforms for hygiene and safe drainage
• Water Access Training for local caretakers

All construction is supervised and quality-checked to ensure long-lasting operation.
